FFO / National Museum of the USAF - 02/08/2014

Had this weekend available, so I ended up going to hang out with some friends in Cincinnati, with a quick detour to WPAFB to get a few shots.

This is part of the "Ranch Hand" display, which includes a UC-123K (which I did not photograph this time)

The only reason I really wanted to go (besides the Presidential/R&D gallery tour, which I didn't get a spot on an a bus that fit my schedule), was to get photos at the Air Park with snow (it also meant that I was the only one crazy enough to be out there, so no kids or people running around).

This is one of two surviving YC-125s, the other one is at Pima Air Museum in Tucson. This one is marked as 48-622, but it is actually 48-626.

Yes it is. ~1:15 for me. Now I need to get a lightweight tripod, because there's a lot of planes that just aren't photographeable handheld (at least not with a decent ISO).
