Yes, they cut away too quickly and when they did they've should've went to an aerial shot like this one:

They did however get a nice shot of the F-14 Tomcat on the deck of the USS Hornet during the pregame reading of the Declaration of Independence

So silhouettes against the lights of the stadium would have been better? Really, flyovers at night, unless it's a burner pass, are really pretty much worthless.

No, my point is that FOX's flyover coverage was disappointing and they could've done a MUCH better job that's all !!
I mean even these amateur videos below captured the LOW flyover better than the "pros" at FOX did !

Great finds Chris!! Suckers flew pretty low!! Must have been cool sitting on the other side with them coming at you!! Noticed they only flew 9 aircraft while in the practices there were up to 14.

It must have been. Am I the only person to notice that during the anthem and flyover ,Peyton Manning was definitely looking up at the choppers.

    Hi Mario,
Oh yes that right you are a Train Buff too :)
I do have my shots on a few uploading sites but mainly they are on my Flicker page. I do need to rescan many of the older shots.

Brought VIPS from CSX up for the the Superbowl Visitor
9993 derailed in the yard the day before and it was being taken up to Selkirk, NY for repairs. Wanted to get the CSX F40s for quite a while.
