Transaero B744 Special Colors JFK Pics

    Greetings,
The colorful happy hands livery was not too colorful or happy today. Not pretty shots at all but still a nice one to get just in case the world blows up tomorrow- but then again it wouldn't really matter i guess. Was fighting with less that 100 foot ceilings and less that 1 mile visibility and Rain. Shot had serious editing. Another crap shot for the collection. Second shot is what it actually looked like. Nearly got screwed by the Kalitta 747.

Great job Senga. I am still waiting for it when I can come to the field, regardless of WX :)

Thanks Mark, Gintaras, I'll try again next time it arrives. I'd love to get this aircraft with a dark background and some nice light. That would bring out those happy hands very nicely.

    I like the K4 Classic !!!
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

I do hope it comes back sooner than later. I see today was even worse that yesterday! I am all for Classic 747s too but not when not blocked another subject hehhe Sheesh what are the chances of that repeating itself again. I was up there for 30-40 minutes and it just conveniently got in the way just at that very second. Amazing

Hey, don't complain that much, you got a very good - an exellent photo in bad weather...I need that plane too...
I was waiting for LOT 787 with sticker in much worse conditions - not only rain, but already was getting dark and dense and low clouds...
