Emirates 777 last second go around at Birmingham Airport

This one is an amazing last second decision by the pilots to abort the landing

I saw the same video on news site a couple days ago.... There were severe storms in western Europe - UK, Germany, Poland...Many planes were redirected to other airports, in Poland a bus with 35 passengers was overturned wind gust.

I saw the article a few days back when my girlfriend showed it to me. It was on a site called 'newsmax', which is known for sensationalizing every last little damn thing. I told her that and basically, 'nothing to see here except an awesome, well-executed go-around', not the near-catastrophe it made it seem to be.
