    JFK 11/29 & 12/1- IMAGE HEAVY

Managed to snag a few frames I needed at Panera this weekend, light was very nice on Friday. Once again I got screwed by the 22L/13L split. I saw one of the Dreamlifters inbound, saw they were on the split, saw that LGA was the final waypoint on the flightplan and mistakenly assumed that would be indicative of them getting 22L. Turns out they flew right over the top of me while I waited near the Mounds without me noticing while doing a great big loop to circle around over the bay to get the 13L approach. I have to remember to listen to CAMRYN and ROBER on the scanner when they're on the split.

    Anyways, no more excuses

A flock of seagulls(not the band)

These two came in within a half hour of each other this morning

    Have a great Monday

    Nice shots,
Siiiiigh maybe one of these days I'll be able to get the ANC B748. That flock on seagull looks like some kind of meaningful image- but I don't know what! I guess the one in the Air Berlin shot realized what happens when you "Go it alone"

Great stuff William. Nice catch on the Nippon Cargo as she is usually a night owl.

I was so sad when I saw NCA out the window. Better than nothing, at least!

Really good catches and nice light! I like the seagull shot.
Btw those are not a flock of seagulls but a flock of migrating Snow Geese: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_Goose

I was on friday afternoon, 11/29th @ Costco's for a couple hrs., it was pretty cold. My photos aren't that good, maybe someone could give me some advice. I think, I should learn/play with camera settings, learn more PP, like how to remove/reduce noise....
Anyway, some better of that day:

    Thanks,
    Gintaras

Thank you everyone for the compliments. The NCA was my consolation prize for screwing the Dreamlifter shot haha.

Kiffy you are right, I never would have thought they were geese they looked to be over a thousand feet up.

Gintaras! Had I known you were over at Costco I would have come over there. It would have taken me 20 minutes to get through all the Black Friday shoppers! Your shots are not too bad to start with, use the lowest ISO setting and stop the lens aperture down a bit if you can. Zoom out a bit so you don't clip the edges of the planes until you get good with keeping them centered in your viewfinder. Make sure you are doing these things before starting to use editing software(which is a whole other topic). The Aeromexico looks well exposed and decently sharp
