    JFK 10/20/13 LAN 787

Headed out yesterday at Sunrise to catch the LAN 787. Sun was just barely above the horizon. Went home, went back to sleep for a couple of hours.
When I woke I didn't know if I dreamed the Dreamliner or really saw it.

They changed right away to the 22s so I shot this on the way home from my car on Brookville Rd.

Nice catch Don, and glad the LAN 787 wasn't a dream, and was the real thing!

    Thanks all.

Hey, check this out. Something I've never seen before on a Boeing jet. Look at this close-up. With the early morning light you can actually see sunlight coming through the tailpipe and hitting the intake area. I was wondering what the heck that was on my exposures. At first, I thought it was some kind of stray light or flare.>>

i saw an Air India 787 land at Delhi this week, they are quite beautiful liners in the Boeing tradition.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

They sure are. Did you happen to notice if Air India kept the red ornamental window frames in the color scheme for the 78?
