    50MM 1.4, sorry I purchased it

I loved my nifty fifty and wanted an upgrade so I got the 50MM 1.4 and also the 1.8. The problem is that I do not use them anymore, my Tamron 28-75 is 2.8 and does what ever I need. I also purchased the Sigma 18-35 1.8 and it is like a prime lens in terms of quality, it is a limited focal range and not my walk around lens but I find that taking the place of the 50MM if in low light. Everyone wants primes but I want good quality zoom lens's. All of my lens are sharp and I am comfortable with the setup I have now, I feel no need to buy anymore glass.

    I have
    *6.5MM Fisheye
    *Canon 50MM 1.4
    *Sigma 18-35 1.8
    *Tamron 28-75
    *Tamron 70-300 VC

    Canon 18-55
    Canon Nifty Fifty 1.8
    Tamron 70-300 DI

    * I have it in my bag for walk around

So now I have this great 50MM 1.4 lens that has practically no use on it and I do not want to sell it....what is wrong with me

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

Would you like that alphabetically, numerically, by order of severity...

Wish I had known you were in the market for a 50 1.4 Fred, I would have sold you mine. Bought it and never even used it.

My 50mmAF-Df/1.4 gets me lowlight concert shots that aren't possible with the 2.8 zoom. It's also smaller and stands up to mosh pit abuse way better. Sorry you didn't get what you wanted out of yours Fred, between the lowlight performance and narrow depth of field I love mine
