Nice set! On the Iberia photo what's going on with the 747 in background? Landing on a different runway or coming around to follow the Iberia plane?

The Iberian was landing on 22L and the Delta 747 was coming in on 13L, was lucky to catch the 747 in the background.

The 13/22 split is one of their regular configurations...and it drives us nuts. You're camped out at the Mounds, and the airplane you've been waiting on all day comes in on 13L. Don't ask me how I know...
    ;-)

Nice set of shots. If I might offer one thought - on the BA 744 nose shot, I might have included a little more of the airplane, so as to avoid cutting the "H" and L2 door the way you did, but that's just a personal preference.

Moose125 any feedback is appreciated. Brand new to this all and i respect and appreciate any info or advise you have to offer. Yes the split was frustrating especially because it happened as soon as all the asian heavy's and Aeromexico 787 came in. As an oceanic air traffic controller at new york center i appreciate all of the heavy's. Hope to see and meet you out there one day. Thanks
