    DC8's at YYZ

A little while ago, I posted some images of my favourite type, the Boeing 707. The DC8 was a close second for me and here are a few Canadian registered DC8's, all photographed at Toronto.

Air Canada DC8 taxiing past the old Terminal One in the first Air Canada livery

Air Canada DC8 in the revised livery, minus the black glare panel and with red titles instead of black

Air Canada DC8 Freighter climbing from Runway 23

CP Air DC8, looking spectacular with a morning arrival at Terminal One

Nordair DC8 being towed to Terminal One

Quebecair DC8 arriving from Belfast in the early afternoon - this is a rare shot as they did not carry the Fiesta Holidays sticker for very long

Nationair DC8 approaching Runway 23 on a beautiful summer morning

Crown Air DC8 pushed back and ready to depart for points south

Crown Air DC8 taxiing for Runway 23

Hope you enjoy the little bit of history - I will post some non Canadian registered DC8's in a few days

    Cheers

    Trevor

    outstanding !!!
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
