    MEX 8-24-13 [AeroMexico 787]

I had many, MANY hours to kill at MEX yesterday. However, double corridor windows, slats, and heavy tinting make terminal spotting nearly impossible. While I was up in the Admirals Club, there were no slats, but very heavy tinting. Hey, at least I spotted this. Cleaned up the images as best I could.

Damn tinted windows, ruiner of many a terminal spotting experience! Though I guess the alternative in a place as hot as Mexico City can get sucks for just about everybody. Great shots given the circumstances.

It was such a downer. There were 727s, airlines I had never heard of, and so much more rolling around. But hey, the 787 was worth the struggle.

Nice! Due to the abundance of sunlight the heavy tint probably helps keep the terminals much cooler.

Oh, without doubt. In the main terminal area, they have both slats AND tint. At least in the admirals club it was only tint, but very heavy tint. Just wanted to cut a hole in it...
