    US Open 2013(running thread)

As most of you know I usually put the planes on the side for the next two weeks to do some US Open stuff. Was there for about an hour today. And for Nick I'm sorry no Maria this year. she has dropped out of the tournament.

I'm a bit rusty, got to get into my tennis mode.

It's so weird seeing a frame that size in Roger's hands. And a #7 seed next to his name.

Great shots, as always. Do you mind if I hijack with my own shots once I get the chance to head out there?

Nice shots Eric! What lens were you using?

Off Topic: Also, Do they have a policy about long-telephoto lenses? I was over in flushing for the Home Run Derby at Citi Field and after I did a little spotting out in front of the subway station, I was told by the Head Security Guard that I cannot bring that type of lens inside the park. (100-400mm Canon)...He told me the "It's the age we live in" crap! Which makes no sense because of the fact that I"m being screened by a metal detecting wand! But anyways long story short, he told me I could bring it in if I didn't use it...

Why Hingis still gets WC's is beyond my comprehension... Very nice shots Eric, love that b&w Radwanska.

Thanks. As for Hingis she just came back after 6 years. She's only playing doubles and mixed.

Was only able to shoot one player today. Too many people around.

Eric, I believe we've met before, but what do you look like? I was at the Hingis/Hantuchova doubles match and based on your angle I must have seen you shooting from one of the small platforms at Court 17...
