    DFW-7/21/2013: Lots of AAction

    Hello All,

Recently began a trip out west to see some family, and my first stop was back home in Dallas. Managed to make it to Founder's Plaza for a few hours yesterday afternoon. The storms in the area made for some awesome backdrops for photos. It was also my first time catching the 737, 767, ERJ, and 777-200ER in the new AA Livery. All in all, not a bad day!

    Thanks for checking 'em out!

    Cheers,

    Nick

I'm rather jealous of the clouds, colors, light, shots, the usual, excellent set Nick!

Nice shots and the clouds in the background provide another dimension.

Thanks guys! I had my doubts about the weather, but I am so glad that I went out. Upon closer examination, what I found amazing was that the first 763 I caught in the new livery is the first of its kinds painted as such, the same one I missed several months back.

    I got it... Just late.

Fantastic set! Well done. I'm curious what lens you were using?

Thanks Don! All the images in this set were taken with a Canon EF 100-400mm on an EOS 7D body.

I'll continue the affirmation of how great the backdrop looked, cloud wise...really great set, enjoyed the images.
