The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

I thought 14/32 was used into the 80's?
It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do

I have a runway map that was drawn up in the early 80's and 14/32 is not on there

    14/32 closed in 1990?

It's on my desk in Lawrence, I'll check it when I'm in town next week. I don't remember seeing that runway but you are right it seems to have been open till '90. Wonder how I missed an actual runway with all the time I spent staring at that map instead of doing my homework
