    CDG 6-20-13

Before the flight home from the Paris Air Show, got a little terminal spotting in. I don't think were at JFK anymore!

    What a stupid airplane

Still kicking myself over this one. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted the Airbus A400M a few miles way doing its daily demo at the Paris Air Show, and as I went to get a terrible shot of that, this came by.

You don't like the 'Jumbolino'? You sure got some nice shots of it.

And hey at least you got some kind of shot of the Air France retro. When we were awaiting takeoff from 9R at LHR 2 years ago I looked out the window and saw the Thai retro 747 landing on 9L. There was no time to get any shot of it.

The 'jumbolino' just makes no economic sense these days. '4 engine 4 short haul' made no sense at any point, none the less with gas prices what they are today.

I flew Barcelona-CDG on F-GFKJ a couple of years back. The joy of flying it was quickly taken over by the typical AF lack of leg room/if-you're-6'5-you-can-chop-off-your-own-legs-for-all-we-care.

The Avro has always been my favorite aircraft to fly on. Sitting below the wing, watching all the flap/slat mechanisms work, in a 2-3 config with Crossair, going from GVA to ATH. Ah, the memories. When I flew ZRH-LCY a few years ago with CityJet they swapped for an Avro-85 and I was so happy it was stupid. What a brilliant little plane!

Some real unique catches here. I like the RAM Cargo and the HOP jet.
