    Folks,

Gotta say - what a great set of photographs - sounds like a wonderful weekend. I'm sorry I didn't join you all - maybe next time. Mark - you sure have that nighttime photography mastered - simply stunning. Everyones shots are outstanding. Did you all have vehicles to get around or is it possible to do it without transportation?

Thanks! A bunch of us had vehicles and some prearrangements were made for sharing a ride. Depending where one stays a vehicle may not be necessary but your spotting location(s) will be limited.

Mark, that korean 747f is incredible!
    Outstanding work to everyone!
My parents have decided that for my upcoming birthday... I'm going to lax for the weekend for spotting. Is there anyway i can know which airlines use which runways? And which way the sun is this time of year for LA? I'm an east coast kid so bare with me!
Probably the youngest spotter ever to walk up the face of the mounds.

Jared, why don't you set up a dedicated thread elsewhere, and those of us who have "done" LAX can chime in there, that way we don't clog up this thread with talk unrelated to the awesome pics that are being posted here.

Great work Mark. I can't believe the volume of fantastic shots everyone captured over just a 3 day period. It really speaks to the passion we all have for this hobby.

I finally had time to get to some LAX shots from the meetup. It was great to see everybody out there and hang out. There were some good times had during the course of the meetup.

Finally got her in good light!

And a side trip was had out to VCV on my first day in town
