While I was waiting in ORF for my flight back to DCA (flew down for business) a nasty gail came through and caused some havoc on the ramp. A US Airways CRJ-200 that was en-route from BOS to RIC diverted to ORF and soon after the passengers had deplaned, the system came through - the winds moved the plane, blocks and all, and sent an AA baggage tractor from across the ramp right into the side of the plane. As the flight attendant from the flight later commented in the terminal "this was not what I expected when they said we were merging!"

Not terribly news worthy but it sure made for some exciting activity to pass the time at the airport.
