    New Gemini Jet Releases

BEtween the April-June releases at Gemini, I need three of these (http://www.geminijets.com/newreleases/)

    - Hawaiian 767-300
    - FedEx ATR-72
    - Air Canada E-190

I need to have these. It's a physical need, I don't know how long I'll last without these 3.

I was in LA last week, laying on the In N Out grass, and that Hawaiian 763 came over....probably one of the best looking planes in the sky today. Reflects light perfectly, so clean.

Wow, these look way better than the Dyna Flytes I used to collect in the 1980's! I'm actually digging the 1/200 USAir Shuttle 727

Phil, just curious, why the obsession with the E190 & ATR? I understand the Hawaiian 763, that is a lovely bird.

I want that Hornet. Make that a NEED, especially since I got to sit in it nine years ago!

i love/lust the Piedmont 727. my first jumpseat ever was on one June of '87,DAY-EWR, I was a DC3 copilot. a freight dog,and I was treated like gold by that Piedmont crew.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

I want my collection to have a broad range of airlines and aircraft types, and those are two that I don't have. I think (I could be wrong) that there are not many prop types in the 400 scale, so that's why the ATR interests me greatly. Isn't taht E190 the first of Gemini's E-Jets too?

    It's probably this one:

    http://www.theredcaboose.com/

There a lot of neat aviation models but they're too expensive. I usually visit a collectible show to make major purchases
You will never know what you will be capable of until you try

Yes, it is Red Caboose. It's a great little shop for kits, paint, supplies and to drool over the Gemini jets. The owner is very knowledgeable about the hobby, but a nervous type and a bit gruff. As you point out, they are pricy and you can usually find the built models for less online.

There's a hobby shop in Astoria, Queens that's only like 3 days a week that has a decent amount of models to go trhoguh. Apparently this guy stocked a bunch of Gemini and Herpa models from years ago, and since his store isn't popular, they just sit there. I think he's got some rare ones for sale.
