    True, when you're going almost 200 miles an hour on takeoff you go from one town to the next in no time.

    My mom, God love her, is convinced the planes have 'gotten lower' since the days I would watch them after finishing my homework(and before I started to drive and get into girls). I said 'Ma, there's no way that's possible, they follow the same glidepath to the runway they followed 20 years ago, otherwise they'd be smashing into houses in Inwood.' Her response: 'Yeah, well they're a lot louder then they used to be'. She cracks me up constantly!
