    Any location for 13L Arrivals?

Im going to be out this morning / midday. Right now at 8:40 ATIS says runway 13L is active for approaches. (even know the winds are favoring the 4s) Is there any decent location for 13L arrivals, besides the parking garage? Also when should I expect a runway change. And why is 4 and 22 closed?

For 13L, you make friends with Mark, buy some burgers and a case of beer and shoot from his backyard :)

Probably the youngest spotter ever to walk up the face of the mounds.

If the spotting trip is worth 18 bucks to you, park in the long term lot on Lefferts on the north side and from 10Am onward you can get about 2 or 3 different angles ranging from full on bank to side on to aft 3/4 views of everything landing.

Get the new Nikon 800mm lens for only about $18,000 or so and you can probably shoot from HoBe all day :)

Otherwise check out the link Jared provided and check out the spotters guide
BTW lots of heat distortion from the backyard today.

Mark, You are supposed to turn off your BBQ before you start shooting.
