As promised, here are my shots from my ramp tour earlier this week. The set is a part of another story which will be going up tomorrow. Enjoy!

Nice set Jason. Were you shooting through a window on the bus or whatever you were in? BTW the Aerolineas Argentinas A340 is sweet.
I am trying to remember what exactly I was told was the issue, but they needed some nature of spar or rear bulkhead, and they weren't having luck finding one. Granted, take this with a grain of salt, as it was 2nd hand from someone in MIA. They seemed somewhat optimistic at the time, but that was months ago.
Cool. How many times a year do they have that tour? Seems like they just had one in January didn't they
The original spar that was made for 707JT had an issue - it went back to the manufacturer - it should be due back very soon if not back in MIA already. It will be fitted and 707JT will be back in the air again. Info from a contact at Commercial where the repairs are being done.

Good news! And I was kinda..sorta...maybe a little bit correct-ish in my recollection
I have a wee bit of time in the IFL CV580's, great little company, they fly 4 727s also, along with the CV5800 (stretch 580), in the late 90's we flew a mess of DC3s,and piston Convair 340s all over the hemisphere, God bless it, those were fun,and challenging times, thanks for the pictures !!!
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
Great stuff. The Dreamlifter sure is an interesting plane!
