Passed it this morning on way to a doctor's apptmt. Should be there in about a half hour! Driving a green Chevy cav, wearing a giants hat. 31s look to be running right now. Hope to see some of y'all there. Missed 31L departures!

Here now having a picnic lunch on the good of my car. Missed this...

Winds switched. Headed to the 2nd floor of the Starbucks on cross bay as the 13L approach is in play.

All NYC aviation folks owe me big time. I opened Hobe this morning missing Arik A345 in the process and cleared the bushes at the mounds injuring my self in the process so $500 from each of you ASAP or undo it all.

I've often seen that porch at Starbucks. Let us know if it's any good.

I was sitting on that porch at Starbucks about 2 weeks ago when a plane went right over. Wish I had a camera!

    that Starbucks rocks for spotting
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

It has its moments but there's some power/ phone lines when shooting the inbounds approaching. If you want to get a tail to nose photo when they pass, it's a really good spot! And you're right on the water, which is nice.
