    ALB 4-22-13

Too nice not to go today. Missed SKIER95, the NYANG's C-130, doing practice runs, yet again.

    Mark,

My goal is I don't want to take photos of the airplanes in the front of the sun (backlit). So, I need to know what time is the best lighting for taking photos. Thanks for your help!

All the good spots are best suited for afternoon or late afternoon light. Both locations for 1 and 19 are on the west side of the field, so you're shooting east in the afternoon. For 28, light can be pretty head-on in the summer, but in the winter/spring, it's angled just right that you'll also get the side lit nicely in the afternoon.
