Hey Ben- Great meeting you yesterday. Give me a shout next time you come down for some JFK spottting.

Yesterday was crazy cool. Great seeing you all out there! I couldn't believe I was actually running over the numbers, they're a lot bigger that I thought they would be up close like that. Don suggested that(and he is probably right)watching the planes probably interfered with my focus and I ended up running a 24:15, 20 seconds short of a personal best. So Manny, it looks like I get to try out that 200-400mmVR next time we see each other- unless, that is, someone here got a better time

The next few shots were taken by my girlfriend, who apparently will soon be a better aviation photographer than myself

This was the best I could manage of the backlit Dubai 744, from behind TWO fences

    also taken by my woman

I waited for that 747 all day today at Andrews with no luck.

The images below are very distorted but I kind of like the look (used a little Topaz)

I didn't get to run, walk, or crawl, but it was great meeting you guys after the race for a couple of hours shooting at Costco.

Great meeting you too AJ, even if only for a short time. I went over to the Panera lot after Costco.

Mark, I think the PA would be dragging you out of there after about an hour and 30 minutes. We just need some slower wheelchair racers next time since they seemed to set the pace.

Is Interjet another niche luxury airline, or is that particular aircraft on a ferry mission or on lease?
Spotters have been Homeland Security before HS was a glimmer in the president's eye.
