    Thanks guys! How do the FedEx 727s navigate do they have any updates in them or is it GPS and hand flown?

    So what are they going to do with the 72 that's sitting on the other side of JFK with the fading paint?

    I believe that belongs to the school of some sort that is on the grounds at JFK if memory serves correctly. FedEx has been donating a lot of 727s to colleges and schools with aeronautic programs.

    IFL Group out of KPTK still operates 4 200Fs, and Kalitta Charters II operates 6 I believe.
    The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

    There are still two FedEx 727s at EWR, one looks like it is going to fly, it had crates infront of it and a FedEx van. The other one had the door open and covers over the engines.
