Was up before sunrise today to get to the balloon launch site. I took a wrong turn and went about 10 miles in the wrong direction
After getting turned around I saw the first balloon launching in the distance. Finally got to the launch site, found a goat path to drive down and enjoyed the show!

The whole launch process was a bit surreal, lots of activity between the fans, burners, ground crew and passengers. And then after the last balloon left it was just me standing in the desert with the occasional sound of the burner overhead.
Made me wish I had brought the 10-22mm lens.
