    Good Friday @ PHL

As Don stated in his thread we were out on Hog Island Road Friday. The day started out with abundant sunshine which quickly gave way to mostly cloudy conditions. At least it wasn't a solid grey overcast, the clouds actually made for some nice backgrounds!

With the Blue Jays charter right up against the fence I had to use a wide-angle lens, the front element of which was too large to fit through the fence. Too much effort to clone the links out so here it is, backlit and all:

    Still seeing the Continental titles

and the Tulip still flies as well

    Miami Air

    Swift Air

    'the 1-year old virgin'

Speedbird with a new crest I've not seen before

    Happy Easter everyone

Great stuff William. The Virgin is super. When you luck out and catch the red strobe in your shot we call it "extra production value".
Nice Jetz capture through the fence. I just zoomed in to lose the chain link, but the trade off was losing the whole ship.

Nice set William and some nice catches. What a strange spot to put the crest on the BA. It would have been better if it were placed near the nose area and on top of that the color of it doesn't make it any better.

Thanks Don. I was trying to figure out how I could efficiently get rid of the fence, but I actually kind of like the framing effect it gives. Amazing, the freedom you feel when you're not worried about acceptance criteria.

Thanks Mark, you remember that that crest used to be on the tail back in the Landor livery days. I always wondered why they got rid of it, it gave their aircraft a regal elegance the new paint didn't have

William you know your design agencies. I worked for Landor. Now I work one flight up in their Pharmaceutical agency. We are both
owned by Young & Rubicam, which I am sure you've heard of. The last livery we did at the NY office was Song for Delta. What a big flop that was.

    Nice set of shots.

Good observation on the BA, this must be new.
