    JFK 3-14-13 [Afriqiyah Airways A330]

After a heads up from Planefinder and Mark, a mad dash to 31L, a mad dash back to 31R, I got the Afriqiyah Airways A330 in the air. Not from a normal spot, but I'll take it!

    And a beacon, to boot!

It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do

Awesome shots Jason and Eric. For so something like the, a shot is a shot, it really doesn't matter where you take it from.

    haha, yep!

From home, to an undisclosed location for 31L, back to 31R, all in about 20 minutes....at 5pm...with lane closures on 878. A glorious victory!

I am scratching my head trying to figure out the silly comment about some bad spot? WTF? Guys, these are TERRIFIC, and a great subject to boot? I am starting to think you guys are becoming like Cary and me obsessing about the right angle

Ok ok, so Cary is a bit more critical than I am about angle, but you get the point...

... yes I am jealous. And ya'll missed the AA ERJ in new colors too lol...

Now now, I didn't say bad spot, just not normal. I was shooting over the tops of buildings, which created a lot of heat haze.
As for the AA ERJ, when did that come in? If you say "just after Afriqiyah" I'm going to be upset.
