Just wanted to share some photos from Red Flag 13-3 held at Nellis AFB beginning February 25th. Participants
were from the USAF, Navy, Marines as well as the RAF and RAAF. The UAE Mirages were flying during Red Flag
but they were participating in the Green Flag in CA going on at the same time.

Isaac....fantastic! I was hoping to make it down for Red Flag, but unsuccessful. Exposures are dead on! Just curious what lens did you use and how close are you to the action?

Thanks all for the very kind comments, much appreciated.

Mark, All shots except the B-2 departure were taken with the Canon 100-400L. The shots from on base were taken between the runways and the distance varied from a couple of hundred yards to maybe 20 yards.

    GREAT SET!!!!
The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

Very nice! You see Dave Budd there? He was with some PHX spotters.

    outstanding pix !!!
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
