    DC-3 Flight

I got an extremely lucky break over the weekend when I had an opportunity to fly aboard Paine field based Historic Flight's Foundation newly restored DC3; also my first time on one! My role was to photograph pax having a good time...so I don't have a lot of the typical window shots and the like...but hope you like them:

The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

    your processing abilities are superb,
    Thank-you!

and the pax windows are huge(787 eat your heart out)
The windows in this one are particularly large as there are two full length ‘touring windows’ in the rear…each window (one on each side) is about 3-4 ft long and standard height: perfect for taking a knee and viewing (though being at the rear you get tossed around a bit). The others are certainly wider than the Dreamliner, but definitely a lot shorter J
