    Charlotte Skyline

I've been looking for some good skyline photos of Charlotte, and have hunted down a bunch of promising-looking locations that didn't turn out well. A couple of weeks ago, a photographer I met at the KCLT overlook mentioned a spot he had been to at sunrise, and tonight I gave it a try just after sunset. I'm still looking for spots to shoot the city from other sides, but this will do for now.

There is something about middle-sized American cities that I love (I come from a French middle-sized town, put that on an American scale and I guess you get something like Charlotte)... This photo sums it up quite well. Man I want to leave New York some days... Nice shot Moose!

Charlotte is one of the most beautiful cities I have not visited (other than passing through airport) yet. Moose, if I get a weekend where I can tear myself away from the office for an ENTIRE weekend, I will have to come down and take some skyline shots with you.

Great shot Moose! My mental image of CLT was more of a Dukes of Hazard type of thing. I need to come out of my cave more often!

We have indoor plumbing and everything, Kenny!

Actually, so many people are from somewhere else, it's not really like the Deep South. Of course, go a couple of hours from here into the mountains, and if you hear banjo music, you better start running!

Nice shot Moose! I hope that you are enjoying your new home, and not having to worry about 18 inches or so, of snow expected to be dumped on you tonight!

Looking good! Minneapolis has a decent skyline, but I do not want to be hanging out alone in the place for the best view. Perhaps I can con another aviation photog to be my bodyguard!
