The problem appears to be with the crews more than the aircraft themselves. NJ just bought a fleet of -139s to replace their S-76s, and Maryland did the same to replace their Dauphins. I haven't seen anything so far to indicate that NJ is dissatisfied with their purchase. Does anyone know if New Jersey flies theirs with 2 crew?

I'm hearing (reading actualy) that NJ flies two pilots on the AW139 and pilots are sworn officers with 2 years on the "street"!!
MSP has I believe a mix of Civilian and PD pilots.
They flew the Dauphins single pilot but not as big a ship as the Agusta.
