    Paris, France - Photos

This is my first trip that I am doing almost exclusively in HDR. The main reason is the lighting. It has been extremely cloudy with a lot of snow on the ground as well as falling. A single exposure would either blow out the snow or have too many shadows in buildings. Processing will take forever, but here are a few that I was able to get done at night.

Fantastic work! How many shots for each image did you take?

Nicely done Tim, I always love seeing unique views of the Eiffel Tower instead of the standard snapshots many people take

I have to admit, it was a bit scary! The streets were iced over. But getting hit by a Smarte car is better than a pickup here at home!

Thanks! I was trying to shoot different angles. I did do the standard as well, but I wanted more foreground stuff.

Absolutely beautiful images of my most favorite city. I am interested in what technique you
used in the process. Where they manipulated? It doesn't surprise me if they weren't. What camera
did you use? I am interested in an 8" x 12" uncropped image of the top Eiffel Tower shot and the sixth
    one down of the people.
    Please advise.

I made it back out to Paris last week for Bastille Day and a couple of days to just lounge around. Here are some more photos.

excellent work! that Eiffel Tower is one hell of an erector set. Did you get to see any of the Tour while you were there?
Have you ever seen a grown man naked?

The Tour's final ceremony looked fantastic on TV! Probably some nice shots to be taken there that day. Nonetheless, great work Tim, although I prefer the non-HDR work (just my taste).
