    LSZH (Zürich) 25-01-2013

    Hello everybody,

I'm in Zürich this weekend because of the World Economic Forum in Davos, which normally brings some nice visitors to Zürich. Here's a small impression of last Friday, hope you like them!

    1. After my arrival from Amsterdam, I went straight up to the visitors deck on the terminal. Just in time to see this Russian Air Force IL-76MD taxiing out:

    2. The IL-76 picked up the cars of Prime Minister Medvedev, who was picked up by this IL-96:

    3. German Air Force A319:

    4. Qatar normally uses their B787s on their service from Doha, but as we all know, those are grounded. This A320 was its replacement today:

    5. The locals aren't bad either!

    6. The WEF brings loads of bizjets, like this English Challenger:

    7. Or this Turkish Gulf:

    8. Qatar Royal Flight A319 was also very nice to catch:

    9. I went for a small break and almost missed this great Gulf 5 from the government of Tanzania:

    10. Another African surprise, South African Air Force BBJ taxiing out for the long flight home:

    11. Thai uses their A340-600s for their regular flights to Zürich:

    12. Heavy crop on this rather bleak C-40B:

    13. And as a last pic from this impression of Friday, a very nice little Falcon 50 of the government of Morocco:

I'm currently editing my catches of today. More nice pictures are coming!

    Cheers!

It's so odd seeing Qatar flying narrowbodies.

Nice work. Makes me want to be back in Zurich. Some skiing wouldn't be bad idea either.
    Thanks for sharing these.
