    Wonderful stuff, Steve!

I have caught reference to a 300mm lense being used, which lense is this? The F4.0, the F2.8?

Did anyone have any security encounters on the T5 parking rooftop yesterday while shooting? Is it cool to just park
and shoot right outside your car?

It was another awesome day with some nice crisp air, but the winds were wicked.

These were taken with the 300mm/f2.8 with a 1.7x teleconverter on the D700 full-frame

These photos below were taken with the 500mm/f4 on the D700 full-frame

Thanks Raj! It was time to bring her "Big Bertha" outside for a while, it wasn't easy holding her with those winds. I needed the door to open to block the winds and leaned against the car for some added stability. She is one heck of a lens.

Sorry I missed you again this weekend, Sergio. Eventually you'll visit when I'm free and the damn sun comes out, unlike last time!

    security encounters?
I'm curious about this as well (location removed, just in case).

    Next logical progression is 500mm + 1.7x. Let's see some 850mm!

Sounds like an awesome idea! Once it gets warmer, I'm down for this.

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".
