KMIA 1/18/13 - Ramp Tour (IMAGE HEAVY)

The annual ramp tour at MIA was held 1/18 - the weather was less than co-operative - but - at least there were some good sights to see - and - of course catch up with old friends and meet new ones!

This Fedex 722 was donated to the Baker Aviation School - but - will never make it over there

    Nice Set of photos
The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

Mark, 6 photos is image heavy? Or is my browser not loading them all up?
Nice panning on the ArkeFly, and why wont the 727 make it to the school?

It's not the quantity John - when I uploaded them they were pretty big - that's all. The 727 - it's on the north west side of the field - the school is down on the east side at the end of 9R/9L - to tow it over to the other side of the field and then have a crane lift it over Le Jeune Rd is way too much for the shape it is in - and - since AA donated the Md-80 there - there is no space anymore.

Very fantastic, I was on bus 2...so we didn't catch the Lufty A380 landing, but we did catch her taking off.
