    Time Machine: MD11s

    Hello,
Its cold, its winter...listening some itunes and just went thru some of my old folders. Thought share some MD11s...

Yes there was times when one can go to UAL cargo area and just take unobstructed 25R line up shots like this at LAX...

One of the best colors on MD11 tail...

    Old EDDF terrace shot

I'd say elegant & sharp looking scheme

Think this scheme lasted for couple of years?

Some interesting stuff in back too...

This was my prize @ EDDF, and ofcorse dull wx to go with!

    J Birds!

Yes, this was taken on one of the first MIA Ramp Tour!

Two in one @ the ramp tour

Talking bout ramp tours, the best was @ Bangkok! AOT told us, "For extra $15...you can have Jeep+Driver for 4 hours!!

    SwissAir Asia

Last but not least, backlit shot of a JFK visitor ...this one operated for Ghana(visited for few months)

    Cheers,

    Raj

Awesome shots, we still see Aeroflot,Avient, and LH Cargo, out there along with the usual(UPS,FDX),suspects. I miss Alitalia too, especially the 747 Classics.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

Thanks guys, more and more I am finding stuff that never knew I clicked! Though some are slides or prints with little processing they do come out better that I expected.
Well heres few of the remaining from my MD11 folder...

    Just love the KLM Blue...

    Guess they had one too!

    Again awesome colors

    Classic Swiss

This flew into KEWR most of the time for one summer!

A long time loyal MD customer... think this one is called "momins" color schem

No matter old or new.... TG has fantastic color scheme

Turning into a cramped gate is RG Bird long away from home

    Sister ship at LFPG

I was hoping someone will add on their collection here.....feel free, more the better

    Cheers, Raj
