    JFK - 1/7/2013 (Heavies)

With vacation winding down and awesome afternoon light decided to step out this afternoon for a few 31L departures. All images were shot using a 1.7x teleconverter on a 300mm f/2.8 lens.

    Cathay 747-800 departing

    Aeromexico heading out

    I can see you!

Very nice, I agree about that last shot- and did you say that was a 300mm 2.8? Thought you had the f/4

William ...... I have both, 300mm f/4 and treated myself to the 300mm f/2.8 (which is a kick #$$ lens). It is one sick piece of glass.
