China Airlines Dreamliner 744 re-painted in normal Livery

    Hey Guys,

I didn't see anything about this posted here, so thought I would share in case anyone was trying to catch this frame. B-18210, the China Airlines/Boeing hybrid scheme has apparently been repainted into normal colors. I shot her on December 26th in normal colors.

    Sorry to bear bad news

    Nick

Is it just me, or is that an updated typeface?

You are right, it is. The C usually is much bigger than the rest of China, and usually extends above the door seen above the titles. I would say they shrank the C, and moved the whole title down a fair bit.

    for example, the usual...

That's a shame :( It will come into JFK all the time now, guaranteed.

It was one of those paints that deserved a bangin' shot. I like the new font, though. Best I could find:

    R.I.P.

I wish for more chances at getting a BANGIN' shot as mark put it, but...

I just remembered that Brandon and I shot it on a foggy crappy morning from T5 on 13L. I have to dig that up... maybe Brandon beats me to it

Cary, she came in under cover of darkness quite often to JFK... but once they went to the day flight, it came in only three times as far as I know! And as you said, I just spoke to their scheduling department, it is on permanently now on the JFK route!!

Bummer.....Another one that gets added to the same list that Spirit of SFO is on for me.....the "never got before repainting" list. Ugh, oh well....
