    DAMN!!! Now why couldn't EWR and JFK do this? At least LGA has a natural high ground for 4 departures/arrivals and 22 turnoff (kind of sucks with the fence but beggars can't be choosers) and 31 has a good location in a public park...

    But man, a high ground like this at EWR next to the highway for summer mornings would be great mid field

    At JFK, it could be built right near the intersection of RWY 4L/R and 31L and they could build a fence around the dirt mound with a little tunnel to get spotters in and out of the pen... Hey, we can dream!!

    Sorry to be Billy Buzzkill, but you have about as much a chance of that coming to pass as I do being allowed to travel back to the 80's to get all the photos I missed

    That's cool though, at least I know I'm not the only one who actually has dreams about spotting(most recently including seeing CPAir 727's and DC-10's)
