The first event of the year! If the title didn't say it already, a bunch of crazy folks get together, strip down, and take a dip in Lake Washington. While Seattle is usually pretty warm this time of year (relative to the poor souls doing the Coney Island one, for example) it was surprisingly below freezing overnight (rare)...which left this years event one of the coldest ever. This was my first time even visiting a polar plunge...and I ended up going in myself about waist deep four times. It was very cold.
