Wow is right a few seconds later and it could have been a different story for the driver.

That video frightens the heck out of me. Seeing the plane right before it impacted the embankment and the practical explsion of heavy debris with the tire being fired away like that.....wow.

What are the ODDS of driving for god knows how many miles, have a good working dashboard cam and crossing the threshold of that crash and escaping it intact and with a video to prove it? INSANE!!!

The amateur aftermath video is abysmal. I don't give a crap what just happened or who you are. If you;re going to have the inclination to video what's going on, at least hold it steady... JESUS!!! Otherwise put down the cam and help the victims.

I've been trying to gather details for days to figure what could have caused this, considering the weather wasn't bad, they landed within the landing zone and had plenty of runway. According to AvHerald...

(editorial note: there have been rumours since the Dec 20th overrun, that the crew had applied reverse thrust, the reverser however had not opened and at least one of the engine was delivering full forward thrust instead).

That sounds an awful like that TAM A320 crash a few years ago. Pilot mishandled the controls, applied reverse thrust to one engine, but full thrust to the other.
