Although it was a cold and breezy day, the light for the most part of the day was great. It was nice spotting with Eric, and Jason (who only made special guest appearances), and towards the end of the day met John and his dad from Maryland (Hope you got that Qantas One World). Still working on processing may photos from the day. I decided to make a last minute dash to see if I could catch the Air Europa Sky Team. She arrived on 4L and then taxied in total darkness to her terminal, so unfortuately I was unable to get a good shot of her. Enjoy

AeroSvit waiting to get pushed back (tripod)

Emirates getting pushed back off the hardstand (monopod at ISO 3200, f/4, 1/8s)

Emirates getting pushed back off the hardstand (monopod at ISO 3200, f/2.8, 1/13s)

Singapore waiting to get pushed back off the gate (tripod)

Korean taxing to the terminal (handheld at ISO 4000, f/2.8, 1/13s)

British Airways waiting to get towed to the gate from the hardstand (tripod)

Great shots everyone - love those Emirates night shots especially.

Hope to get out there again soon, it's been months! Happy New Year!

Thanks gentlemen!!! Got lucky with the Emirates again as they turned on those exterior lights that give it a nice touch.

    Awesome shots everyone.

Eric, nice catch on the FedEx ATR. I haven't seen an ATR in our neighborhood since... forever.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Thanks. It came from EWR. I guess it beats sending a truck from EWR to JFK.

Thanks Fasil and Mark! The Qantas was the first plane to switch to 4R Mark, so I ended up not getting it, but the highlights from the rest of the day made up for it. Can't wait to get back up there!

I was out for a couple hours on Friday. I first stopped at Jamaica Bay then to Cosco.

Okay. We were parked by the water. Where you were you have to contend with the power lines.
