    Heard on the radio today...

A fellow aviation radio listener posted htis today:

"Jet Blue 390" is up on 131.175 in a phone patch to Company Maintenance.
    IDs plane as Aircraft 632.
Right before takeoff from Orlando, left main brakes heated up to 125
degrees Celsius. One brake then shot up to 300 degrees on the ECAM. It was
the left outer-most brake, Brake #1.
Once they were aloft they dropped the gear and the brake cooled off.
Now Brake #1 is at 185 degrees Celsius, the other left brake is at 180; other
brakes are at 40 degrees Celsius.
Maintenance says they think it is a stuck brake, so the pilot says
because landing at LaGuardia means a short runways, he will be declaring an
    emergency."
