    One Hour at Narita

No trip to Japan would be complete without at least a little spotting so I moved up my train to Tokyo by an hour to squeeze in about an hour on top of terminal one. I was disappointed that it was pretty backlit...in hind sight I might've had better photos going through the terminals. Still, got a bunch of catches I otherwise wouldn't have gotten.
    So, to begin with...Scoot:

Really glad to catch this one...didn't actually know they had it:

    Thai A330

    Vietnam A321

Great shots.... if you still there.... try Terminal2 (either side has same viewing terrace as T1. you won't get action shots however better sun)

Also, only 5 mins via bus (think it was $1.50 or so fare!) to Shakura No Park.... great spot for approach. ex..

Lastly if you find any local spotter at the Shakura park, they can possiblt bring you to "gaji gagi" or Rwy 16R spot.... awesome spot (you will need 5-6 hours tho)....ex

Have a great time... even for spotters like us, there is tons of photo op in Tokyo city itself. (saw your great Addis non-av work)

    Cheers

Jeremy, the SIA *A is my fave... but where have you been? Under a rock? That sucker is been out for a while. Too bad it does not fly to the Eastern US

    Thanks guys

Manny, I don't see SQ out my way much, so no I had no idea :-) a pleasant surprise indeed!

Raj, I definitely wanted to get to the other side, but only made an hour available before I has to catch my flight. I could've come earlier but chose to take some time to see a quick bit of Tokyo before coming back to the US.
