The 777-300ER was delivered unpainted. The new AA livery still has not been released yet.
If AA and US merge though..... It may look something like this
I wouldn't necessarily say that it was delivered "unpainted". An unpainted aircraft would still have the green coating on it. I'd say that it was delivered "livery free." The paint that is there is likely the base coat for whatever new livery they have planned. I think that there is a very good reason why the aircraft has been delivered in this state, and part of me wonders if it has to do with a potential US/AA Merger.
