Yes and I pulled up to the fence line of Rt 109 just as they were rolling (at 3:15)!! Very impressive take-off, low, loud and fast and it looked like Hornet 1 did a little tail wave for a bunch of guys standing by the numbers of 1. Absolutely beautiful day with the C-47 and B-17 up and down all day and a number of other AAM aircraft taking to the skys for Fly Overs!!

The Catalina departed around 3:15 and they flew 4 flybys before heading out south to JFK airspace!! That was very cool and so great to see! Never have seen one flying before!!
I was surprised and very excited when I saw the Catalina was flying with the other warbirds. I saw the Catalina in the air again while I was driving on Wantagh State Pkwy after the show. Although I would like to have another good look of her in the air, I did not want to cause an accident on the highway.

Hahaha sorry Christina!! Saw the group there with the Reublic Rescue truck. And I did hear something on my scanner with Tower asking them about the flyby when leaving but was busy concentrating not crashing to get to the fence area before they left.
