    Trip to Vermont

My girlfriend and I just got back from a few days up north in beautiful Vermont. We attended a "Big Game Dinner" where they served all forms of wildlife, including moose, bear, beaver(it was disgusting), venison, rabbit, and even alligator. I thought most of it would taste "gamey" but really only the beaver was real strong, like, you KNEW you were eating a wild animal with every chew.

Got some decent landscapes up there, but it was pretty chilly. I stuck my hand in Lake Champlain and it was so cold I don't think even Chuck Norris could swim in it. It also looked like Subaru sells half their cars in that state, and I seemed to be one of the few men that didn't have a beard.

Here are some of the photos taken in transit, we left on Thursday

uh, I was trying to get AWAY from Philly. And by the way US, the tail of this plane should now have a photo of Andy Reid's face on it with a big red 'X' through it

    a neat catch

just happened to see this out my window- did anyone notice he was coming in?

    finally caught this bad boy

    departing 4L

    in Burlington, VT

first trip on jetBlue and first ride on a Jungle Jet

    returning to Kennedy on Sunday

    Tappan Zee Bridge

lots of floodlights in Far Rockaway as we shot the ILS for 4R(note that Breezy Point is pretty much completely blacked out)

rode back on "All Wrapped Up In Blue"

Even at night, this building rocks

Nice shots! Did you sample any good Vermont brews with the big game?
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

They look weird, but are actually a more natural position. Your hand just 'falls' into place on it.

Thank you, and but of course

This is the "Long Trail Brewmaster Imperial Porter" I had with my steak tips @ The Scuffer Steak & Ale House

And this was a Stout from the Vermont Pub & Brewery

Both were as delicious as they look gentlemen. They were so dark and meaty you almost needed a knife and fork. One of the reasons I love winter is the ability to enjoy these dark brews.

The Game Dinner was held in a church in Bradford, Vt about an hour east of Burlington. There was no alcohol at the event so between that and the end of the world being next month I had to make up for it in style on the other nights.

Excellent stuff and great photos! I too am a fan of the rich and dark beers of winter.
