Thread: 727 KEWR?

    727 KEWR?

I believe it was the 30th (maybe 31st?) I could have sworn I saw a 727 on the approach vectors to TEB and then 22 at EWR some time mid-afternoon...looked like it might have been a classic Lufthansa-esque paint...can anyone confirm or deny this? I know my eyes aren't what they used to be, but my pants don't shorten themselves for just anything looking like a stretch 737 with engines on the tail...

that may have been it...i can't remember the colors but it had that circular emblem on the tail. are they a normal operator into EWR? I've not seen a 727 come over the house for as long as i can remember until the other day.

Yes, they are a normal operator to EWR, but usually the flight comes in during the night, and leaves in the morning.

thanks for the info! i was outside talking to my neighbor and heard/saw the sleek sexiness of the 727 and knew what it was immediately...thought it might have been a rare visitor being that it was in daylight hours. my spotter side was pissed off that I didn't have the camera, but alas, boner was achieved nonetheless getting to see one fly.

Senga's probably editing his pic of the Cargojet arrival from runway side in perfect light.
