ALB 10/14 Rare Silver Airways Visit

I noticed a Silver Airways flight to ALB and headed over. Very likely Silver's first and only visit to ALB for a while; Albany does not have scheduled Silver Airways service.

Also, my first spotting session with the 60D.

SIL5200 from Quebec, QC, surprisingly, not a phantom flight and landing 19.

No more Alliance titles for Air Georgian's 1900s.

    Departing to Gainesville, FL.

Sweet set! I've seen silver airways at IAD throughout the year but never gotten a decent shot of them. When did they come about?

That Saab was recently in US Express colors operated by Mesaba until they got out of Saab flying, nice shots BTW.

Great job Mark! Nice light on the Silver departure. Were you shooting through a fence or are you able to be airside at ALB

I assume that he was shooting through the gap in a gate at the end of Sicker road. It's spot A on this site's spotting guide for ALB.
