North Central State Airport (Rhode Island) 9-29-12

Well, I've been under the weather the last few days but decided to drag myself out of the house. I climbed into the truck and headed to the track for raceday. But due to some persistent drizzle (which was not showing up on the radar), the races got cancelled so I headed home. On my way home I got a text from Mike S. asking how far away from North Central Airport I lived. So, knowing that it isn't more than 45 mins from my house, I decided to make a quick stop at home for my camera and head out to the field. I arrived at the field and Mike met be in the parking lot and we proceeded out onto the ramp. There wasn't much action or interesting stuff, but I took some shots anyway. And due to the cloudy conditions, I thought I would try to do some more realistic looking HDR shots...

Wow 4ER looks great with winglets. Really sharp and colorful, even on a dreary day; I love how you minimized the ever-present HDR halos.

Steve these look really nice...I know you said that your new PP technique makes it look less tone-mapped but this is awesome! 4ER never looked so good....MMMMMMMMMM!

Thanks guys! You're all much too kind.

Mike, thanks for texting me and letting me know you were in my area and for the tour of your "office".

Thanks Mark. Feeling much better now. I was hoping to be there for part of UN week but wasn't able to make it. I'm already planning to take at least a half week of vacation for UN week next year.
